An extraordinary 5,000 sq.ft. clubhouse is the centerpiece, as well as a huge resort-style pool, complete with cabanas, a water slide, and lazy river – perfect for families to enjoy for hours!

When it’s time for a drink or a bite to eat, the tiki bar serves both your favorite libation, along with a tempting menu for poolside dining. With all the latest in cardio and strength building equipment, the fitness center will keep you in shape while on vacation. For some friendly competition, there are sand volleyball courts and a multi-purpose sports courts. In addition, a sundry shop is located in the clubhouse, along with a video arcade.

Windsor Island is a gated community, with an attendant, to ensure the safety for all our visiting guests. Windsor Island Resort is located in the Davenport area. Access to this “secret” near Disney entrance is just 20 minutes away and avoids the heavy traffic that can occur with the main Disney entrance.There is no better way to vacation than a rental home, and Windsor at Island is sure to impress!

“Disney Family Fun Made Easy! We absolutely loved our stay at this Solara Resort property (townhome 6279)—it was everything described and more, and the location couldn't be better (just minutes from Disney World). The open first-floor layout was a dream—huge kitchen, cozy family room, spacious dining area, and easy pool access—perfect for gathering as a family (and sneaking snacks in between park days). Our granddaughter was over the moon about the Moana-themed bedroom, and the Star Wars room had the adults geeking out too! With two king suites (one upstairs, one downstairs), a queen, two sets of twins, and even a pull-out couch, the house can easily and comfortably fit a crew of 10–12. We had the perfect balance of together time and quiet space when needed. Extras that made our stay even better: -Parking right out front (so convenient!) -Kitchen amply stocked with plates, pots/pans, utensils -Plenty of TVs with cable + smart options -Ice-cold AC (lifesaver after Florida sun!) -Well maintained property with excellent communication from the property manager Our family had a fantastic time here and felt completely at home.
