County Cork Villa 1000 is a truly special retreat – a beautiful and spacious 6-bedroom beachfront home, perfect for family gatherings and memorable get-togethers. Nestled in the heart of West Cork, this home offers fresh sea air, soft sandy beaches, luxurious comfort, and roaring fires – all with spectacular views of the Atlantic.

Though thrillingly remote, the house is just 20 minutes from the lively, music-filled town of Clonakilty, making it an ideal base for exploring one of Ireland’s most enchanting regions.

The Space

County Cork Villa 1000 is thoughtfully designed for large families or groups. Highlights include:

  • Two generous living rooms – one for adults and one for children, each with cozy furnishings

  • A fully equipped kitchen at the heart of the home – perfect for cooking up local delights

  • A bright and welcoming dining room for family meals

  • Six comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space to unwind


In the warmer months, enjoy:

  • Croquet, boules, and table tennis on the front lawn

  • Outdoor dining with a BBQ and sea views

  • Children’s play areas including a swing and tree house


For quieter moments, choose from our large collection of books and DVDs, or curl up with a glass of wine by one of the house’s roaring fires.

If a break from cooking sounds appealing, we offer home-cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner served directly to your table. Our dishes celebrate zero-air-mile, chemical-free produce from our organic garden, local farms, and the nearby sea.

Sample breakfast options include:

  • West Cork pork sausages & Dunworley eggs

  • Smoked salmon with brown soda bread

  • Proper porridge with homemade preserves

  • Homemade muesli with seasonal fruit


Dinners are four-course feasts featuring locally caught fish, ethically reared meat, and vegetables picked from our garden the same day.

Best of all? Bring your own wine with no corkage fees – a huge saving compared to restaurant dining!

Menus are seasonal, and all allergies or dietary preferences can be catered to.
