My first visit to the villa was in 2017 with a group of girlfriends, all of whom were as impressed a...s I was with the villa and the very personabe and helpful owners. The villa is spacious and tastefully decorated with a mix of modern and contemporary features whilst retaining the very natural and unspoilt beauty of the surrounding area.. The views are heavenly offering a mix of blue ocean, green mountains and picturesque islands in one glance, all of which can be admired from a sun lounger by the salt water pool, from the shaded outside dining table or the two balconies. The house itself can easily accomodate 2 families (1 on each floor) as there are a minimum of 2 bathrooms, kitchen facilities and living areas on each floor. The immediate area is peaceful and immediately relaxing - ideal if you are in search of mindfulness or a break from the rat race! That said, Split town centre with the glorious palace and huge selection of cafes, restaurants and bars to accomodate families and party lovers alike are a mere 30 minutes away. Upon my return I immediately booked the villa for a family holiday during June 2018. On this occasion our party was made up of 2 families, a total of 10 people comprising members of 4 years old to 68 years old. Once again the attention paid by the owners was comparable to that offered at any 5 star hotel and everyone left the villa devasted that the holiday had come to an end but full of praise. Nothing was too much effort from our thoughtful hosts, from the spotless surroundings, to helping with recommendations of how and when to visit local sites to, help with grocery shopping! I stated in Croatia for my friends hen do. The villa was beautiful inside and out. Romano and his wi...fe did everything to make our stay pleasant and went above and beyond to help us with our taxis and activities for the weekend. The massage he organised was out of this world and the chef who came to cook for us was easily the best food I have ever eaten. When a friends taxi didn't turn up to the pick her up one call to Romano and he was there in 10 mins to pick her up and take her to the airport. My family and I have just returned from a 10 day stay at Romano & Irena’s fabulous villa. There were... 7 of us in total - 5 adults & 2 children. The villa is spotlessly clean and there is more than enough space for 2 families to stay comfortably. Downstairs is a huge open-plan kitchen & living space which opens onto the terrace and swimming pool. This area is quite traditional in style, with some fabulous artwork throughout the property. Upstairs is more modern with a huge open living space complete with a great little children’s corner with drawing, games and a tv. The whole villa is very tastefully decorated and feels lovely and airy at all times. The weather was not good while we were there, however we understand this was unseasonal and we did have a couple of lovely days of sunshine. The villa is ideally located a short drive outside Trogir however it is possible to walk down to the beach at Seget Donji in 10/15 minutes (downhill on way there, uphill on way back). The location is good as we were able to easily visit Primosten which is the opposite direction to Split/Trogir but is a wonderful and pretty place to explore with lots of restaurants and good swimming spots. You will need to hire a car though if you want to explore the area. I would say the only drawback is that the villa is located just off quite a fast road. We didn’t feel that the road noise disturbed us too much, it is just a consideration when walking around about the property. Having said this, the villa is set back far above this road and is very safe and secure as the grounds are extensive and well-enclosed. The neighbourhood is small and felt very safe. Irena & Romano are wonderful and welcoming hosts. They had no problem meeting us at the property even after a late flight from the UK and also a very early check-out. Romano kept in contact whenever we asked for recommendations or tips which was really helpful and even left a birthday present early on our son’s 6th birthday which was so kind. We had a great time in Croatia and the villa was perfect! The villa is very spacious and tastefully ...decorated. Everything you might need, and a bit more was included in the house. 2 floors with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchen and a lot of space to just hang around and enjoy. Stunning view over the sea/Island and mountain. Romano and his wife Irene was so kind to us and helped us with all necessary information. The location is a bit aside, perfect if you would like to have a peace and quiet holiday. But we really recommend to hire a car if you like to explore the nice surroundings. I could literally write a book about this place. We were 2 families, all together a group of 10 peop...le, who stayed in this villa for two weeks in July 2017. It could not have been better. The villa sits just outside the town of Trogir, a small town under the cultural protection of UNESCO, with small shops, narrow streets and good restaurants. The villa was beautiful with fantastic views and it had everything you need. Lots of space both outside and inside which made the house perfect for our two families. We used the pool, terrace and balcony daily. The host, Romano, was magnificent. He was always available and helpful. He helped us make contact with a taxi driver who we came to use for trips to Trogir and Split during the stay. He recommended good restaurants in Trogir and told us where to find beautiful beaches. Romano also organized a boat trip and it was really nice. A truly wonderful holiday. Trogir and this Villa with host Romano are highly recommended. I think we will be back! Read More
