Hiral September 2025We stayed 2 nights here. First you have to climb down about 40-50 steps to collect the keys for your apartment. Then you’re climbing down another 20-25 steps with your luggage to get to the 1st elevator which will lead you the main building. If you have small bags, it is doable but I wouldn’t recommend with big bags or heavy luggage. The place is quite small. We were 3 ppl. We didn’t have any space to put luggage. The view of Matterhorn from the balcony was great. The apartment is at walkable distance from Mürini viewpoint. no paper towel rolls or dish sponge given. The lock and key was very hard to use. The mirror in the bedroom was broken which the owner knew about it. Toaster didn’t work for us. If you have big bags, the best way to get to apartment to/from the train station is to get an e-taxi which will add another 25 CHF each way.

There are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, which is tough if you have lots of luggage, but it’s worth it. Communication was good and the train station/main downtown area of Zermatt is about a 15 minute walk away. It’s definitely walkable, but if you’re coming from the train station it’s mostly uphill, so e-taxi might be easier if you have lots of luggage. Would definitely recommend for the great view alone!

The place was quite clean and had a great view of the Matterhorn. There was some issues with the shower drainage and the wifi would not show up on any of my devices. I was also unable to locate the washer and dryer - it may have been communal between units, but I was unsuccessful in locating it. All aside, still a great stay and a positive experience!
